IDEA 2.0 HOW TO USE WEBEX
 
 
BEFORE WE START
  • We recommend that, in order to avoid missing any session, you register for all sessions in a single instance
  • Registering ensures you have the calendar entries set in your calendar
  • This allows you to accurately track the sessions and know when is the next one. It also increases your chances of getting the prize since you will remember to log in in due time
  • Registering will get you automated reminders to attend on the due date

REGISTRATION Log in to WebEx platform (https://ciscosales.webex.com/mw0305l/mywebex/default.do?siteurl=ciscosales&service=7)

Register for session by typing in the Session # that you have received in the invitation from Logicom.


Note: If you are registering to a session that is scheduled for another day or later time, you will see the following notification.


Registering – Please fill in all details, especially COMPANY AND COUNTRY



1. Once registered you will receive an email from messenger@webex.com
2. Please click on "Add to My Calendar"

ADDING A REMINDER
TO YOUR CALENDAR
If you are using IE you will have the same or similar to this view. Please download the iCalendar then OPEN and ACCEPT the invitation as shown in the following steps:

If you are using Firefox as a web browser then you will have to open or safe the iCalendar to Accept.

Open and Accept the calendar entry to have it in your Outlook.


JOINING IN TO LISTEN There are multiple options to join in on the teleconference:

Option 1: Join the built in teleconference

Starting an Integrated VoIP conference
 
To use an Integrated VoIP conference, your computers must
meet the system requirements for Integrated VoIP. Once you
start an Integrated VoIP conference, any attendee whose
computer has a supported sound card can join the
conference.

To start an Integrated VoIP conference:
1.  In the Session window, on the Communicate menu, point to Integrated VoIP.
2.  On the menu that appears, choose Start Conference.
 
The Audio Setup Wizard appears if this is the first time that you have started an Integrated VoIP conference.
3.  Follow the instructions in the Audio Setup Wizard to set up audio options.
4.  Click OK.


Option 2: Join in via Skype
1.  Download and install Skype: http://www.skype.com/
2.  Dial in the US Toll Free Number: +18663493520
3.  When prompted, enter "3#" to redirect to a WebEx Meeting
4.  When prompted, enter the Session ID number, available from your registration and from the Logicom Session email "9xx xxx xxx"
5.  In order to properly identify yourself on the panel, when prompted, enter you attendee ID number: this will be available in the "Info" Tab once you have logged onto WebEx


Option 3: Join via Landline to your local WebEx Number

1.  For a listing of the worlwide local numbers, please visit: http://www.cisco.com/web/about/doing_business/conferencing/index.html
2.  When prompted, enter "3#" to redirect to a WebEx Meeting
3.  When prompted, enter the Session ID number, available from your registration and from the Logicom Session email "9xx xxx xxx#"
4.  In order to properly identify yourself on the panel, when prompted, enter you attendee ID number: this will be available in the "Info" Tab once you have logged onto WebEx.
